The cabin was very clean and neat. It is very spacious and has an excellent location next to Blue Mountain. We were very comfortable, beds were great and it has all you need to feel at home. We will definitely rent it again.

We took the entire family for a ski trip over the long weekend. This place was located only 5 minutes from the ski resort. It had snowed the night before we got there. All walkways and the driveway were clear of snow. The place plenty big enough for the 8 of us. It was clean. The family room was great for relaxing, hanging out, and the fireplace made the place amazing. Extra wood was located right outside the door, which was super accessible. Some things to note (it isn’t a bad thing), the place could have used more plates, cooking utensils (no spatula or whips), and there were a bunch of pot lids but only a few pots (and none of them were large enough). The master bathroom was amazing, but it’s located on the first floor. We never used it. Finally to follow up a previous comment, the coffee maker has been replaced and if you go light on the toilet paper then there is no need to use the waste bins. Other than that, this place was amazing. I would stay here again for another ski trip.

This is the second time we stayed and were overall very happy. It is a great location and a beautiful property. It’s a short 5 min drive to Blue Mountain where we enjoyed skiing and snow tubing with the kids. The kitchen is big and we did lots of cooking. The first time we stayed we were able to use the outdoor pizza oven and LOVED it. We had planned to do the same this second time but unfortunately the pizza oven chimney may have needed to be cleaned?? There were hard ashes on all of our pizzas that prevented us from being able to eat them- we did a thorough clean of the oven itself to try to remedy the issue but with no luck, we think it may be the chimney portion?? Other than that, the stay was absolutely perfect and the host was very helpful and responsive- we look forward to this trip every year and plan to return next year to this same property. The kids love it as well with lots of running space outside and a fire pit :) maybe next year we will have hot tub option? ;)

Some great features: This cabin was perfectly located to make a long ski weekend at Blue Mountain! A short drive to the slopes (you can see them through the trees in back yard). The fireplace was cozy to cuddle up to at the end of the day. The streams running in the yard were peaceful. The beds were comfy. Two kings and plenty of twins. Soaps, coffee, some beers, little extras were included that you didn’t expect. The place was a great multi family gathering spot! Some tips: bring a blanket/sleeping bag on cold nights because they don’t provide a lot of heavy coverage items. Bring a coffee maker, the percolator was on the Fritz. I had to you tube on how to use the oven (it’s super cute and has a lot of settings just in picture form). Some weird thing to note: they ask that you don’t flush toilet paper and want you to use a waste basket next to toilet?!? Not sure if the septic is having issues but it would be better to explain why and ask to limit TP use or install a bidet.

We had a really great time at Rustic Woods. The cabin is beautiful and meets the description. We stayed in the winter, but could see this home also being beautiful in the spring or summer. Plenty of beds and great open spaces for large groups. It’s very close to Blue Mountain, which made our snowboarding getaway easy. Our only complaint was that there was miscommunication about who our main point of contact should be. We struggled the first day and a half with communication, but once we heard from the main POC, everything was smooth sailing from there.
