John & Shannon’s home is beautiful, comfortable and quiet. They have lovely gardens surrounding the cottage with amazing views. We highly recommend staying with them!

A perfect place to stay when in Armidale. In terms of the location, it was close to town (about 10 minutes drive) yet far enough away for complete serenity. Extremely idyllic. The accommodation is on acreage and surrounded by beautiful gardens. The kids (and dog) ran around and loved it. The accommodation was spotless, the beds comfortable and the hosts were close by, yet we only saw them if we needed something. On one night we decided to eat in and use the kitchen. We needed some aluminum foil so contacted our host and asked for some - within minutes they were there to give us what we needed. And sitting by the fire pit drinking wine and looking at the stars was incredible! I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.

We loved staying in John’s cottage. It’s in a beautiful quiet spot with a charming garden and is very comfortable and well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. Comfy bed, good shower with unlimited hot water and good pressure. Great heating and aircon if needed, although we didn’t. Generous provisions too. An easy drive from the Armidale CBD. John was a great host and we loved the dogs too. Our dog enjoyed playing with them and they were friendly. There are quiet country lanes you can walk along from the front of the property. One thing to be aware of when booking is that the price is for two people, and extra people cost more. However it’s quite cosy and I wouldn’t really recommend for more than two people, unless the extra person is a child. Thanks John.
