Booked a last minute stay for one night over the weekend. Philip’s cottage was easy to find and had very clear instructions before check in on parking and access to the property. The cottage is simply beautiful- it has lots of historical character and charm but Philip has equipped it with lots of the latest mod-cons including sky TV, Nespresso machine, remote controlled dimmable lights around the space. The bed was also one of the most comfortable I’ve stayed in at an Airbnb, it felt like a luxury 5 star hotel bed. Walking around the village is almost like you’ve stepped back in time, and the surrounding countryside and walks are stunning. I would definitely recommend this cottage for a stay and I would return again in a heartbeat!

What a wonderful home from home! Due to being in the high end hospitality industry as you can imagine my husband and I have high expectations. Philip and Melissa’s cottage is wonderful, they have supplied everything that you may need to feel right at home and not want for anything. The communication was always quick and pleasant. It’s not often that you stay somewhere and not miss your own home comforts and this is one of those hidden gems. We will definitely enquire to stay again if we are ever in the area.
