My Casa is situated in an effortlessly beautiful Etruscan Borgo (complex) w/shared pool in the Umbrian hills. Contemporary, stylish in keeping with its Umbrian/Tuscan roots, it boasts a brand new kitchen and furniture, and is full of charm and personality. Sofabed, bedroom, bath and shower Borgo Conventaccio has been lovingly created with walkways and superb views. No two properties are the same. The pool is in the middle of the Borgo The area is in a nature reserve with spectacular scenery The apartment is on the ground floor of a beautiful classic stone house within a 40 house Borgo. Built 20 years ago, it looks old but has the benefit of all mod cons. Everything is brand new, carefully chosen to create a comfortable yet contemporary home. There are many personal touches as it isn't simply a holiday home but somewhere you can feel at home. I've chosen lovely crockery, coffee cups for every coffee you can imagine, soft furnishings and colours that make you feel you're somewhere bright and spacious. It never feels cramped even with 4 people living there. The kitchen is made for people who love to cook and socialise with the round tulip style table and chairs. I have most things you'll need, but please ask if there's anything you particularly require. The L shaped sofa faces out towards the garden, and you can look out there and watch the sunset. It's quite magical. It doubles as a king size sofa bed. There is a topper for your comfort and two different weight duvets for all temperatures. There are French doors onto the garden with a mosquito screen so you can look outside without being bitten! Mosquito screens are on all the other windows and doors. The bedroom faces into the Borgo and you can sit outside it through the French doors, drink your coffee and say hello to the neighbours. The Borgo is incredibly pretty and the architects did a great job of making every property different but part of a coherent concept. Full of walkways and glorious views, just wander around and check it out. The perimeter looks over a stunning landscape. Whatever time of year, the light and colours are gorgeous. The mattress (king size bed) is brand new and also has a topper, and two duvet weights. I have chosen Anthropoligie linens which are luxurious and beautiful. There's a wardrobe and chest of drawers' a full length and a round, face mirror. The small hallway has storage and space to hang clothes, and leave suitcases. The bathroom has a good pressure shower in the bath, there is a toilet, bidet, large sink and mirror. Fluffy towels and toiletries are also available. There is a 28" smart TV and you can easily stream films from your smart phone / computer. There is newly installed air-conditioning in the bedroom and a air cooler in the living room. The boiler and washing machine are in the recessed cupboard on the wall of the exterior to the garden. Odd, but it means it doesn't take up kitchen space. The garden is being landscaped soon and it will be gorgeous. But until then there are comfy chairs to sit outside. There is a simple bbq there until the all singing all dancing landscaping is in place. Please ensure you use it away nearer the centre of the garden as the current terrace is too narrow and close to the house. Please don't move any furniture from inside to the garden. The shared pool is less than a minute from the bedroom. It's pretty fresh but lovely once you're in! There is fencing around it for safety. The Borgo is a calm and quiet oasis. As it gets warmer neighbours are out in their gardens and terraces having bbqs and drinking delicious Orvieto wine.
