Carol was the perfect hostess. She reached out prior to our visit to touch base, and each and every time I contacted her she immediately responded. She met us at the house with an early check-in and showed us around, giving us info on the area with things to do. The home was outfitted with everything you could possibly want and was very comfortable for the three of us and could easily sleep more. The best part is the screened in porch with the most beautiful view of the marsh. Watching the sun come up each morning was amazing. I really can't say enough about Carol, her home, and her hospitality. She even made a special trip over when we couldn't figure out how to access the football games. Unfortunately, our games (Colts and Broncos) weren't broadcast thanks to paid programming. So we went to OPS and they were both on the big screens. We all loved our time in St. Marys!

We booked this house for a Girls Weekend of College friends. The place was large enough for our needs as there were four of us. Each of us had our own room, with the three bedrooms and futon in the office. There is great outdoor space and a lovely view of the river. I would definitely recommend Carol's space for anyone having a family or friends get-together. It's close to historic St. Mary's and to the interstate for anyone traveling.

We loved the home and its location. We were there for the train ride in Kingsland and it was fun to watch it cross the trestle over the water and we waved to the passengers from the backyard. It is also very close to Winn Dixie, shopping and good restaurants in St Marys. Carol was very accommodating with our boat and allowed us access to a deeper private dock since the low tide is very very low and not practical for something like our deck boat. It would be perfect for someone with a kayak or paddle board. The area and the marshland would be beautiful to explore. We caught a small flounder and some crab off the dock. A cast net will get you some shiners and shrimp if you intend to go out fishing on the St Marys river. The home is very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen has basic supplies but we couldn't find any baking sheets or a large bowl for a salad. There is a Dollar Tree nearby so we grabbed what we needed there. We were very happy overall and we would love to stay again.
