Patrick’s place was just we needed- clean, warm, comfortable and such a wonderful host. We will be back!
Patrick is a kind, responsive and gracious host. His home is lovely and the sun room and back deck are fantastic gathering spaces, with a grill and fire pit. The bedrooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen both had welcoming amenities, and Patrick went way above and beyond to fix an unexpected problem with the water heater. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Patrick is a Gem! A very accommodating host. His home was very welcoming. The Sunroom is the best room in the house a true oasis. This home has all you can think of, and truly feels like home. Every bed is comfortable even the sofa bed in the sunroom. Patrick kept it well stocked with clean linens, towels, toiletries and let’s not forget coffee. His home was very comfortable for family of 6. Thanks again Patrick~ We will definitely choose you over the local hotels, and highly recommend your home to visiting friends & family.
My family and I stayed here for a week and it was an excellent stay. It had everything that we needed (laundry, soap, shampoo, etc.) and more! A very cozy place that’s close to the highway so it’s relatively easy to get places. Would stay here again!
摩根湖( Morgan Lake )也在骑行距离之内,这是通往翰德步道( The Walkway Over The Hudson )的步道最近的入口。
Born and raised in Ireland about 40 miles south of Belfast in a place known as the Kingdom of Mourne. I arrived in NY in 1987 on a June afternoon where the mercury read 94. I thought as I walked through the exit doors at JFK International that I was going to melt. It was 20 degree's hotter than the previous hottest day I had experienced to that date. I went through a string of jobs the first few years mostly in construction but because of a fear of heights found myself moving from job site to job site as soon as construction reached the 2nd floor before settling into a bartending job on UES of Manhattan where I was able to keep both feet on the ground floor then in 2004 was offered a job in a residential apartment building and although I call myself a doorman my first boss liked to call me way too often and tell me that I was there to do whatever he told me to do. Now 18 years later I keep a few different hats in my locker as I feel some days that I'm stuck in a episode of Faulty Towers where every one walked off the job in protest leaving one person to run the whole show as the requests from the tenants are vast and varied Although it's been 35 years since I first arrived in NY I still find myself getting homesick every time it rains.
