Head North to Barking Bear Cabin located on Warwoman Creek. This trout fisherman's dream features views of the surrounding mountains and is on a DNR-stocked trout stream. It is all yours to fish, swim, relax and enjoy the great outdoors. There is a huge wraparound deck with plenty of outdoor seating. This cabin is conveniently located on a private road and surrounded by National Forest. Sit by a cozy fire or take a short drive to explore the awesome outdoor activities this area has to offer. THE INDOOR SPACE: • The cabin is an open floor plan with a living room, dining area and fully furnished kitchen. • There are 4 bedrooms (2 with queen beds, 1 with a full bed and 1 with two twin beds). • There are 2 spacious full bathrooms and another half-bath on the main hall. • The laundry room has a full-size washer and dryer, as well as a large washing sink. • We provide a Pack-and-Play, along with sheets for our tiniest guests. • We provide an extra supply of bath towels, creek towels, bedsheets, and pillows. • There are a couple board games, books, and checkers for our guests to enjoy. THE OUTDOOR SPACE: • You will have trout fishing in the backyard on a Georgia Department of Natural Resources stocked trout stream. This creek is stocked WEEKLY from April to July and frequently throughout the rest of the year. PLEASE BE AWARE: ALL TROUT FISHING IS CATCH AND RELEASE!!! • We have a Creekside firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs and yes, firewood is provided. • There is screened porch on the back of the house with views of the creek and mountains. • We have a MASSIVE wrap-around deck that provides access to the front yard, living room, master bedroom, screened porch, and backyard. • There is a WEBER charcoal grill available for you to use with charcoal provided. • This cabin sits on a full acre, with a giant yard filled with green mountain grass and a wide -open space for playing. • In the Spring and Summer, you can enjoy all the blooming flowers, blossoms, and local plants. TV, INTERNET & CELL SERVICE: • We have a 75” Smart TV in the living room. • There are 2 other small flat-screen TVs located in the guest rooms. • We have high-speed WIFI internet through Windstream that is also boosted; we have also added a WIFI extender to provide you internet service throughout the property. • Cellular service is patchy for all major carriers up in this area, so we recommend enabling your phone to use “WIFI Calling” while visiting the cabin. And just in case you want to ignore your cell phone during your trip, we also have an active landline for guests to use. PET POLICY: • Our cabin is pet friendly with a prior approval. We do charge a $100, non-refundable, pet fee per dog. • We have always loved to travel with our pets, so we are happy to allow yours to be a part of your adventure. We have dog bowls and a pet station available for your use. Please note that the cabin is located in the North Georgia mountains. In the event that the cabin loses power due to wintry conditions, we will do our best to work with you but a refund is not guaranteed.
