The unit we rented (bilocale soppalcato con vista) had a nice atmosphere, with a living room/kitchen/bedroom downstairs, opening on a small balcony, and another double bed on an open "mezzanine" space above, finished with wooden beams. The space downstairs is small for 4 people. The kitchen has very limited working area, but good functionality (working oven, microwave, fridge with a small freezer compartment). There is no independent washing machine, but laundry can be handed over to staff in the morning, and collected in the evening (for a fee). Gianni was extremely helpful and responsive. The breakfast (which you can book the night before) is delicious and extremely good value for money. The only small disadvantage, for us, was the bar, just below blasting music all afternoon. Otherwise, great!

The photos on the website show multiple apartments. It turned out ours was image 15 and 19 of 23 much more basic than suggested by the other 21.Ask for photos of which apartment you will be allocated. The amenities lists "cooking facilities" one image shows an oven Our apartment had only microwave and a hob. Check the precise facilities in the apartment you book as the nearest supermarket is an hour down the valley so if you are coming for a weeks skiing and get your supplies en route you know what to expect . we did not. There are only three restaurants in Stafal and the "grocery" store is extremely limited. The kitchen utensils were very basic and poor quality. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the pillows are so thin that we left with neck pain as well as lack of sleep. The positives is that the towels were changed twice in the week and it was only 5 minute walk to the ski lift and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
