The setting is exquisite, gorgeous views, abundant wild life including seals, eagles, lots of water fowl. The home is truly unique and feels very private, and was reasonably well stocked. There are many thoughtful spaces designed to relax and take in the view but the top level deck with covered bar and fire table is a standout. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will definitely be back. Our stay was absolutely magical but there are a few things worth mentioning. The covered bar was very very dirty - seems likely house keeping doesn't clean out here. Sadly the sauna was not working, though the steam shower in the primary suite was a suitable stand-in. The indoor air felt a bit stagnant and much of the home is starting to show signs of age and wear (the tile throughout is starting to fail, some rooms overheat while other areas are quite cold, and a couple view windows on the main level fog up between the panes). Regardless it was an amazing stay.

Thank you team…this home is magical with a view like that you cannot say anything but good things. Everything was wonderful except unfortunately the lovely guest suite did not have a working toilet and sink…which meant the couple had to do stairs at night and the inconvenience was challenging…I sent a note to the management and they offered to come at night and fix it, but we were leaving the next day and we did not want people coming in on our last night. All we ask is a reimbursement of $100 for that inconvenience and disappointment. Everything else was 5 star…we would love to return and have already shared it with friends and family for next year. I hope you will keep being an airbnb. I know it is a lot of work, I was an airbnb host for 10 years and had over 350 guests from around the world…I loved every guest and love Airbnb. I have never been disappointed. Thank you, Christine Peak

Beautiful property, but we arrived to a problem (out of order toilet in primary suite) that was not disclosed to us in advance (it was known to the host because an out of order sign was on the toilet when we arrived) and was never resolved during the entirety of our stay. Further issues included empty gas tanks for the fire pit and grill, as well as broken igniters and missing knobs, making both unusable. Additionally, we found kitchen utensils encrusted with food in the drawers and cabinets, so the beginning of our relaxing stay was spent cleaning up someone else's mess. The extent of kitchen amenities fell slightly short of expectation. A simple set of mixing bowls, more than one ice cube tray, a beverage pitcher, and a whisk would have been nice to have. We were just very let down on our holiday weekend.
