Pros 1. Amazing location and views 2. Outdoor living space was awesome - but see comments below 3. Communication from the local host was great 4. Safe feeling 5. Lots of great food nearby (but as expensive as So Cal - over $500 USD for a meal for 7) Cons 1. Gas leak alarm went off mid stay. We could never discover the source. The local host (owner is foreign) came by and could not find the source either. 2. Not a lot of cleaning supplies. There were tiny ants all over and we could not get them under control. 3. The bathroom in Room 2 smelled horrible—like a dirty reptile cage. I think it was the bidet that did not seem to function. I plugged the open drain but it did little against the smell. Room 1 had a similar smell. 4. An exterior door did not lock 5. They nickel and dime you on power consumption. 5 nights and I got a bill after our stay for more than $300 USD. More than I pay in a month at home. 6. Our whole group got many bites by some sort of bug on the outdoor couches.

We loved staying at Gail’s home. The location was great, easy walk into town for dinner. And during the day, we didn’t even want to go to the beach because the house and water surrounding was so beautiful. We swam, paddle boarded and kayaked all day! We were there for a family reunion trip and there was more than enough room to accommodate everyone.

I cant Say enough about this place. Location is perfect. House was perfect. The views, the amenities perfect. Waking up every morning having our coffee watching the boats go by had us getting up early every morning :)) Location was amazing for us to visit Tulum, Cancun, Cozumel. But always happy to be back at the house each evening. Our only issue was that time went by to fast and we had to leave. :-(. We will definitely be back with the rest of our family. Gail was amazing if we had any questions. Always available and helpful!

Gail’s home was more beautiful than we could have imagined. Photos don’t do this property justice. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and we loved the neighborhood. The beds were so incredibly comfortable and we slept like royalty. Will definitely be back!!

Magnifique villa très bien équipée, grande fenestration qui permet d’apprécier la vue exceptionnelle. Les espaces extérieurs sont nombreux et agréables pour profiter de la belle température. Très bien située, près des restaurants et des activités, endroit tranquille et paisible .
