Maria is an absolutely lovely host, very kind,thoughtful and flexible. Since I was staying a couple of nights and am in my 60's, she made sure I was very comfortable. She allowed me great flexibility with my check in and check out times, so I didn't have to wait at the bus terminal in 35 degree July heat or carry a heavy bag around while I waited to check in! Check in was easy and clear. The flat is very comfortable, just what you need and want. I particulary appreciated the very comfortable bed, good strong wifi, working fan and really great extras like a soft, fluffy, big enough bath towel, an extension lead for my laptop and ice water in the fridge. Maria was the perfect combination of helpful, attentive host but without ever invading one's privacy. She made some very helpful suggestions. The location is just a normal working Palermo neighbourhood, about 10 minutes walk from the bus and train station. I would definitely recommend Maria's place and look forward to staying again.

La Sig. ra Maria mi ha accolto con gentilezza e disponibilità, vedendo la mia altezza 🤣🤣🤣, mi ha gentilmente offerto una stanza matrimoniale invece della singola che avevo prenotato. È stata sempre a mia disposizione per ogni mia esigenza e per consigli sulla zona. Lo consiglio a tutti e se potrò ci tornerò volentieri 😊

The room I stayed in was spacious and functional, and the balcony with French doors is a plus since there's no A/C. However, Palermo is noisy so be sure to bring ear-plugs so you'll have an uninterrupted sleep. The shared bathroom was never an issue for me, and the kitchen was a nice convenience in the morning and at night. But overall, I would describe the accommodations as being best suited for younger travelers who don't require hotel style comforts and frills.

Che dire! In questi 5 giorni mi sono veramente sentita a casa, ho fatto amicizia e condiviso con gli altri ospiti dei bei momenti. Inoltre ho avuto l'onore di fare amicizia con I gatti che vivono a casa di Maria e anche loro mi hanno accolta e mi hanno tenuto compagnia. Bellissima esperienza!
