We were a group of young friends and we had a lot of fun. The property with its cat family is a dream to fall in love with and the view from the tower is a fantastic experience! Dolly the sheep fell in love with our rental car, you had to hold her sometimes when leaving the property. But that was no problem. We warmly recommend the accommodation to families and groups of friends.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. La maison, sa dépendance et ses extérieurs nous ont beaucoup plu. La région est belle et très reculée. La plage est facilement accessible, de même que les villes de Marconia et Pisticci. Les propriétaires, très accueillants, nous ont reçus avec de magnifiques antipasti et nous ont donné de nombreuses explications sur leur maison. Il nous ont également très souvent amené des fruits et légumes de leur production. A la demande, Antonella fait la cuisine pour ses hôtes, à des prix tout a fait corrects et c'est vraiment délicieux. Les points qui nous ont moins plus : il y a beaucoup de chats dans la propriété, ils restent à l'extérieur et cela a bien plu aux enfants mais avait quand même un côté envahissant ; la cuisine pourrait être mieux équipée. Par ailleurs, il faut savoir que la chambre à l'étage dans la maison principale et celles de la dépendance sont accessibles par des escaliers très raides qui ne conviennent pas à de petits enfants ou à des personnes âgées.

What a fantastic place Villa Torre Accio is, the charming main villa with its tower bedrooms is delightful and we rented the dependence for a week which was lovely and where Antonella cooks and serves her guests if you pre order food( which we didn’t do but the menu looked lovely).The pool is large and has a deeper but not deep end which was great for jumping into for a refreshing cool off.The gardens are huge and we had the company of a family of cats and kittens who joined the tortoise and chickens in the garden. The area is remote and so a car is essential but the village of Pisticci is only a short drive away. The surrounding villages of Matera and Taranto are both within an hours drive and well worth a full day of exploring while Alberobello and Lecce where a bit further but well worth the trip. There are a couple of local supermarkets within a 15 minute drive and we awoke one morning to a basket overflowing with the contents of the hosts garden. The hosts are attentive without being intrusive and always at the end of a text for helpful advice. We used their to airport service as some of our party left earlier than others and that was fantastic,saving us an additional drive to Bari. As mentioned by other reviews be aware that the tower bedrooms are accessible through the main house bedroom and the upper tower room is stunning but maybe not for the very young or old due to the steep stairs. There are several bikes for the guests of all ages to use and the pool is perfect for both sunbathing and shade with the shaded covered seating area being well used to escape the midday sun. There is a large covered eating area with several relaxing chairs, table football and a stunning rooftop terrace to watch the sun going down. All in all we have had a lovely relaxing holiday and couldn’t recommend the villa and hosts highly enough, Thankyou so much We would love to return and do more of the area. Caroline and family

Antonella and Giuseppe have been super hosts. My family and I have spent our holidays at the villa, which is spectacular. Both Antonella and Giuseppe are very kind and attentive to the needs of their guests. Antonella is a great chef, she prepared a delicious dinner for all of us one of the first nights. If you like to feel at home this is the place, both Antonella and Giuseppe treat you like family and help you in any way. It's just authentic. Antonella e Giuseppe sono stati super hosts. Io e la famiglia Irlandese di mio marito abbiamo trascorso le vacanze alla Villa, che é spettacolare. Sia Antonella che Giuseppe sono molto gentili e attenti alle esigenze dei loro ospiti. Antonella é un ottimo chef, ci ha cucinato una cena deliziosa una delle prime notti. Se vi piace sentirvi a casa, questo é il posto giusto. Antonella e Giuseppe ci hanno trattati come parte della famiglia e aiutati in tutti i modi. È tutto autentico.
