The villa is nice and rustique. Bed are confortable, the view is amazing and there is a mid-week clearning, which is nice. It’s a bit far from Chania, but closer to some nice beaches. Arrival: The address that was given by the AirBNB was not the good one…after 1h of searching and getting the help of locals, we finally found the place. Its called Athina luxury villa and it was 10 min from the address given. We told them to update with the right one and share the name of the place. Communications: The chat via the app is managed by a company and not the host. Sometimes they answered fast and transfered our messages to the host, other times they would tell us, « just call the host ». Pool: There were a lot of bees around the pool…We a 5 month old baby and we didnt feel it was safe. We picked this villa for the pool. When we communicated with them to let them know we wanted to leave earlier because we could not use it, the host came face to face to tell us to use the pool from the other villa and to give him a couple of days to take care of it. There were less bees at the other pool, but still some. When we left, there were still a lot of bees on our pool. Shower: The shower, as you can see on the pictures, is really rustique, so it’s a bit cold since it’s not closed and easily leaves the ground very wet. Kitchen: The kitchen is well equiped. That said, there were no garbabe bags other than the little ones in the garbages, no tissus, no paper towels and no basics like oil, salt/pepper. We recommended to the host to give the basics to start you off.

Bon séjour. Villa tres sympathique pour une famille de 6 personnes ( pas plus). L’emplacement entre mer et montagne est top ( Voiture nécessaire). Équipement juste ce qu’il faut (pas plus pas moins). 2 points négatifs: la communication avec l’agence qui gère le séjour ( très peu réactif) Les guêpes et abeilles sur le bord de la piscine. Gérable entre adultes mais attention avec les enfants
