The house is incredible! We woke up to gorgeous views every morning, and beautiful sunsets. The cozy fireplace in the master and the large soaking tub provided a respite where you can feel a world away. The gourmet kitchen was super organized and spacious, and had everything you need and more. There is silence all through the day on the property, total relaxation. We appreciated the thoughtful local recommendations. Highlights include delicious Meyer lemon pizza from Corkscrew Cafe, cozy dinners at Cafe Rustica, outstanding pinot noir at so many tasting rooms, fresh raspberry scones from the local coffee shop, and the friendly community that lives in the area. We’d love to return, the house is a dream!

The house felt just right for our family vacation - our three adult kids and partners. Each of us got bedroom and bathroom - for privacy. Kids walked to the town. The kitchen was amazing. Well appointed with tools and appliances, and a big central island for preparing. Plenty of equipment. I love the six-burner GAS stove, and especially the big picture windows to the valley and hills in front of the house. Supplies of all the things you wouldn't remember to bring, such as foil and spices. We hung out and did puzzles at the castle-size dining room table, with the additional view of a lovely back garden with flowers and plants rising steeply behind the house, and watched silly movies on the big-screen TV. Problems caused by rain from an atmospheric river over the beginning couple of days were dealt with promptly and efficiently - no one could have foreseen electrical interruptions outside the house! Our hostess was incredibly responsive and organized. Have great photos and memories.

We were so surprised that Curtis's property exceeded all of our expectations so thoroughly. The photos don't do the spacious rooms justice. The kitchen had every cooking item we looked for, and then some. The spice drawer is complete. The bedrooms, all with adjoining bath, were comfortable. The wifi is great, and my daughter worked from one bedroom as her office doing trainings and running meetings. The landscaping is spectacular, and the large outdoor table which seats 10 is on the south side - we had sun every day (which even Curtis couldn't have planned) and therefore sun in the seating area all day long. We took the beach chairs and towels for a picnic at Carmel Beach. We didn't look for a single item that we hoped was there that we didn't find. And we loved the art on the walls. We'd happily stay again.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! The pictures accurately depict the spacious, clean rooms and the lovely views! It was the perfect location to walk to the local wineries and to reach Carmel-by-the-sea quickly by car. Would stay here again!
