Shashika and her sister Dilani were super friendly, accomodating and great hosts who helped us with everything we needed at their beautiful house directly by the ocean. We stayed for two weeks and it felt like a second home and family when we left. Our children became friends with their daughter and Dilani cooked all kinds of delicious Sri Lankan food. We would recommend everyone to stay at their place.

Shashika and Dilani and the whole staff from the restaurant are so nice and friendly . They welcome you with your whole heart . It was really hard to leave . Having the ocean directly in front of the room is incredible . The room is basic but it even has ac :) will definitely come back !

Shashika and her sister welcomed and treated us very well. They did their best to make our stay comfortable. Always greeetd with smile. Food was very good. Enjoyed local style vegetarian prpeparations specially cooked for us. The stay on the edge of the beach was a nice experience. Getting into the water was very comfortable. Watching local fishermen fish in traditional way very closely was really nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great place with spectacular view on the ocean, which is 3 meters away from your room (consider the noise). Secluded beach with noone but the guests and sometimes fishermen going out in the ocean. The most caring and friendliest staff are always ready to help. There is a convenience store and a cafe with a great chef, that is very convenient. Great food and a variety of catch of the day offered daily. It really felt like home during the month we stayed there. Highly recommend

I feel sorry to say - but Shashika wasn't ready to host us on day we arrived at her place. we faced a lot of problems due to certain circumstances and had to leave the place within an hour. 1. Room and bedding- was good. and spacious. Balcony view - The best! it's very close to sea, few steps. and color of sea here is mesmerising. 2. bathroom - was Okish clean. 3. Communication - had a lot of issues as Shashika was out of town when we reached, and her brother left the premises soon after we reached. so we were left with her mother with our queries, who probably doesn't speak/understand English at all. 4. power cut- not their fault but created problem for us. we had plans to settle, get ready and leave for Galle, but due to no electricity, we were left waiting and there was no determined time for power to be back. +was a hot day. 5. No water in bathroom- this was the biggest issue, we could do without power as we got habitual of power crisis during our 8 days trip. but no water in bathroom(not sure what happened to their overhead tanks) left us without getting to freshen up, shower or even use toilets. they asked us to use a open shower downstairs which wasn't feasible. 6. no eating place nearby. you are totally dependent on this family for food. Shashika was trying to be helpful via phone, but things just didn't work out. hoping they are better ready with small improvements.
