This is a really wonderful spot. The two-story apartment is lovely with lots of attention to detail in its recent renovation. Great kitchen and bathroom. Beds are super comfortable, which was great. We appreciated all the morning sunlight and the little deck. Chris is an incredibly responsive host, and took very good care of us, even taking care of sheets and towels mid-way through our ~12 day stay. We enjoyed getting to know him a bit during our stay. Lots of interesting museums, shops, and sights within walking distance. We would highly recommend this to anyone, and we'd love to stay again if we ever return to Thames.

Stayed with a colleague on a work trip. This is a gorgeous space that Chris has created. Had everything we needed and really enjoyed chatting with Chris & meeting Dingo. We arrived in late on the first night, and the muesli, milk and coffee made us feel right at home. Thanks again Chris!

We had a lovely stay in Thames! Chris was very friendly and helpful in recommending nearby spots to visit. The apartment was clean and we enjoyed cooking in the nice kitchen (and with some of Chris' freshly grown herbs from his garden :)

We had an Amazing stay at this place in Thames. It is such a wonderful home and it is well equipped with things for the guests which made our stay even better. Chris was very nice and it was very nice of him to give a little walkthrough to show where everything is. He also gave lots of lovely recommendations for things to do in Thames/Coromandel region. If anyone needs a place to stay in Thames, this place would be one of the best!

Wow, Chris and Dingo dog's Airbnb was better than best. In all my years of travelling I have never experience such a pristine place. Everything was done is such a thoughtful manner, filled with so much class. Thank you Chris, this was such a memorable time for Johann and me.
