Die Lodge ist wunderbar idyllisch gelegen, man schläft zu dem Rauschen des Baches ein. Der Garten bietet viele Möglichkeiten zu verweilen und die Gedanken schweifen zu lassen. Die Lodge ist liebevoll eingerichtet, jedoch ein wenig klein. Aber für zwei Personen vollkommen ausreichend! Talitha ist sehr hilfsbereit und steht einem mit Rat zur Seite. Vielen Dank für das tolle Erlebnis.
Super lovely hosts. Location is challenging to get to but close to the PR1 hike (25 mins to the parking lot) The place IS charmingly rustic as it is described and has a nice grassy area with a firepit. It did have a musty smell when we arrived and we found that there could be more lights as at night is was quite dark. The wifi was not strong (teenager problems!).
Talitha und Cillin sind zwei sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön ruhig gelegen mit einem riesigen und wunderschönen Garten mit mehreren Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Lodge selbst ist sehr liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir kommen gerne nochmal wieder und würden es jedem empfehlen.
To begin with I have to say that the Hosts were super friendly and always responded quickly. The place is super cozy amd small but unfortunately extremely humid and damp. I have to add that we did come in January during the rainy season so of course it might be more humid than usual. The walk behind the main house to the lodge was a wet mess in the rain as the main house has no gutters (that we had to squeeze through) and there's no pavement to the lodge so it's all wet and slippery. The patio was really sweet and comfortable and during the summer you can grill and sit by the fire outside! Unfortunately we couldn't sleep in the big bed upstairs since the mattresses kept sliding apart :/ so we stayed on the couchbed downstairs. The bathroom was also always very wet with walls dripping rainwater in... And there was also no Wifi.. All in all I would recommend it for the summer but definitely not for the raining months.
