We had a wonderful stay at Kelly's place. The pictures don't do justice to the chalet. It is absolutely lovely and decorated with care, extremely well appointed with details well thought through (everything one could dream of for an extended weekend). The area is full of hidden treasures as well. Highly recommended.

Lucky Day Chalet offered everything and more! Great skiing close by as well as many restaurants and shops in Ellicottville. The chalet itself was cozy and well maintained set on a beautiful piece of property. The owners were very easy to work with and provided many suggestions to make our stay wonderful. It was the perfect place to get away for our family and we will definitely come again!

We have stayed at the Lucky Day Chalet before and it's always been a wonderful experience. This home is very special. We love the location and hope to continue to come back each year.

We took deep breaths as we pulled into this beautifully-situated chalet sitting atop a wooden hill, overlooking dense trees & crisp water. Going through the front door, our stress melted as we were greeted by warm cottage hues, a cozy fireplace & views that grab your attention! There are many cozy spots on all 3 floors to rest & relax your head, plenty of room to play games or snuggle with a book. There's a spacious, well-stocked kitchen & a big dining table to swap stories & share a warm meal. At night, the stars filled the sky with the moon reflecting off the water. We got a fresh layer of snow overnight, creating a glossy white blanket, which made for stunning views out the numerous windows in the morning. We'd grab our coffee, get comfy by the fireplace & read tips of where to eat, sightsee & shop; downtown Ellicottville is just minutes away! Kelly suggested getting some fresh air & walk the 'hood too; fun identifying animal tracks! Best family time! We could not be happier!

Wow- this place is AWESOME! This chalet is thoughtful and charming, simple yet detailed! The owners have literally thought of everything. Kelly provided us all the details for check in well before we arrived. The property is stunning and huge! A gorgeous log chalet sitting on top of a hill overlooking beautiful trees (of every color) with a pond at the base of the hillI. The entry is super cute with cubbies, coat hooks, ski hooks and a nice long bench! You walk into the charming kitchen and dining room which has a beautiful chandelier and large vaulted ceilings. I loved exploring this chalet as every room is warm, inviting and thoughtfully decorated! I loved seeing new charming details everyday around the chalet! The rooms are perfectly laid out for multiple families to stay as they have beds on every level! The primary bedroom upstairs is so charming! The bed is super comfortable and the room is big! The upstairs has 3 beds, main level has 2 bedrooms and the basement has 2 beds. I love all the sweet lights and beautiful rugs in the rooms! Bathrooms are all updated and stocked with clean towels, hand soap, lotion, toilet paper and a hair dryer. I LOVE the kitchen! I love to cook and am always frustrated with the lack of daily tools that rentals usually have. This chalet hit the mark- you can tell the owners cook! Sharp knives, spatulas, kitchen tongs, scissors, can opener, measuring cups and spoons, mixing bowls, pots, pans, cookie sheets, etc! This kitchen is stocked! Some of my favorite details they added in the kitchen was a pancake griddle, a variety of dishes (plastic for kids and ceramic for adults), a variety of drink glasses (glass wine, shots, champagne, etc as well as stainless steel wine glasses to take to the fire pit!). I love that they provided a wireless speaker, candles, matches and lighters. The main room was our favorite! It’s all large windows allowing you to sip coffee and enjoy the view. We loved the big fireplace with all the ski chalet details including snow shoes and skis on the walls! Love all the pictures local to Ellicottville! The room was stocked with dvds, board games, puzzles and cozy blankets! Instructions to anything in the house (turn on fire place, thermostat, etc) were easily located in the book the owners provide in the kitchen. The property is beautiful! We loved the big picnic tables, the porch and all the beautiful wood chairs overlooking the pond! Enjoying a glass of wine in the hot tub overlooking the property was a highlight! We loved the fire pit and how easy it was to find all the supplies to make the fire. Chairs were provided that were easy to move which was very nice! We loved all the owners recommendations for things to do in town and did a lot of them! Downtown Ellicottville has the cutest boutiques, restaurants, breweries and coffee shops! It’s only minutes from the chalet! We absolutely loved our stay here! You can tell the owners were extremely thoughtful on stocking this chalet!
