Jeannie was the epitome of the gracious host. She made me feel welcomed in her home from the moment I arrived. The bedroom suite was a great retreat at the end of my wonderful trip in Alaska. Jeannie and Gary’s home was spectacular and had every necessity I needed with amazing views and the calm and peace at exactly the right time. If you’re a dog lover, you’re also in for a treat because you’ll have an additional welcoming host.

If you are visiting Alaska and staying near eagle river or looking to explore the Chugiak park this is the perfect place to stay. And if you are just looking for the perfect getaway and a wonderful home to relax in it is even better! My boyfriend and I felt so at home here and loved every second of it! Perfectly placed in the middle to go a little up north or down south. We did a lot on the days where the weather was nice. However even when it rained it was just as perfect relaxing in the comfort of their home having the bedroom door open to the backyard hearing the rain or wind just watching movies.

It’s a beautiful house in a nice location. Her dog is very sweet and was with the home owner all of the time. The dog didn’t have the run of house, even though I wouldn’t of minded since she is a great dog. It’s very clean, well kept home and had parking by the front door.
