The only criticism we had was that the house was so relaxing and comfortable that we had trouble getting motivated to leave it in the mornings. We planned the trip to explore Asheville and the Biltmore and the house, with its arcade machine, fast internet, variety of board and card games, hot tub, firepit, and expansive views, was just as much a destination as our intended ones. Can't recommend the place enough.

Highly recommend booking Sunshine Hill is you are looking for accommodations in the Asheville area. It was extremely private, clean, spacious, and perfect for our large family vacation. There were many amenities within the property and thoughtful touches throughout such as hot tub towels, board games, corn hole, firewood, kitchen basics, and even extras such as wine and smores ingredients. We would definitely stay here again.

Stunning place! It looks exactly like the photos. There were wonderful amenities, beautiful scenery, comfortable beds and couch, and Carolina was very helpful and responsive. I would love to come back one day, and I highly recommend this place to anyone. The driveway is incredibly steep for people who aren’t from a mountainous area, so keep that in mind, but it’s so worth it for the views and everything else that this house has to offer. The kitchen is gorgeous and fully equipped for cooking needs. The firepits add for a very cozy fall evening also.

Awesome location for a mountain getaway. Our group loved Fairview, everything you could need/want is within a couple miles. Easy drive to both Lake Lure and Asheville. I’ve stayed in many Airbnb’s and Sunshine Hill is now one of my favorites. 11/10.
