The Costa Brava has a wealth of wonderful places and cuisine for the visitor to experience. The area has some of the most beautiful beaches and hidden coves in Europe, for guests to explore. There is an unlimited amount of water sports from kayaking, boat hire, windsurfing/boarding and other water-borne sports to enjoy. The Medes islands, just off the coast of Estartit, is a protected marine area and has some of the best diving experiences in the Mediterranean. There are great cycling routes and for the more tranquil pursuits, there are wonderful walks and bird watching opportunities.
Examples of occupying civilisations from the ancient Iberians to the Greeks and Romans, have all left their mark on the landscape of this area. The area also has a wealth of wonderful historical buildings/architecture for guests who wish to explore the history and culture of the area. The medieval towns/villages of Castello d'Empuries, Pals, Peratallada, San Marti and Torroella de Montgri are all within short distances of the accommodation. The wonderful walled medieval city of Girona is only a 40 minute car journey and the fantastic Dali museum in the city of Figueres is only a short car journey away too.
For those guests who wish to pursue golfing, there are ample golf courses, including the PGA Catalunya, in the area which are open all year round. The Costa Brava can be enjoyed all year round due to it's warm climate and is waiting to offer it's treasures to our guests!!

To experience all that the Costa Brava has to offer, we would recommend that guests use car transport.
However, the nearest railway station to the accommodation is in the town of Flaca. This railway line is on the main Barcelona to Port Bou railway line.
The nearest airport to the accommodation is Girona (Costa Brava) which is 45 minutes drive. Other airports that guests can arrive from are, Barcelona (El Prat) which is a 2 hour journey and Perpignan airport, which is approximately 1 and a half hours to the accommodation.
To get to the accommodation, guests will need to head towards the town of Torroella de Montgri and from there, follow the signs to the town of Estartit. When entering Estartit take the first exit off the round about and carry on to the end of the road. At this junction turn right and the apartment block is the second block on the right. The apartment block is named "Nurimar". However, we would ask that guests collect the keys to the apartment from the hosts own house whose address will be given once a confirmed booking is made.
