We spent a month in South Africa, starting our journey at Hettie's place. She is a lovely host who instantly made us feel at home. Her hospitality and the quality and comfort of the rooms made it an easy choice for us to return at the end of our trip. We felt we could relax and wind down to prepare for our flight back to home.

We booked a night at Hetties place after flying into Johannesburg from the Netherlands. We were immediately made very welcome and relaxed. Hettie was very kind and helpful. We were lucky that we could extend our stay another night at this peaceful place before we set out on the rest of our journey. This was the perfect start for our vacation. The rooms and bathroom in the guesthouse were very comfortabele and clean. There's a pool for a refreshing swim. Just around the corner is a centre with shops and some great restaurants. My stay was truly delightful from the moment we arrived.The place is quite clean and Hettie is such a great host ,we received a warm welcome.Not forgetting the lovely dogs which brought an extra layer of warmth to our stay.I highly recommend staying here.
