The village:
Kantia is a small seaside village on the Argolic Gulf, in the Eastern Peloponnese region of Greece. It is located 150 km from Athens (approx 2 hours) and is an ideal location for anyone seeking a quiet, relaxing beach vacation, but also wants to be a close distance to the historic city of Nafplio (only a short 20-minute drive away). Take advantage of the tranquility this small village offers, enjoy its non-crowded beaches, delicious tavernas and bars/cafes, and of course, get to know its friendly people.

Nafplio (17 km) is the first capital of modern Greece, a stunning coastal city deeply rich in history, culture and natural beauty. Its charming alleyways, shops and restaurants, beautiful port, Bourtzi Castle and Fortress of Palamidi are all waiting to be explored.
Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus (19 km) is the finest, best preserved ancient theatre of its kind. Known for its astounding acoustics, it is still being used today to host unique performances primarily during the annual summer Festival of Epidaurus.
Argos (28 km) is considered the oldest continuously inhabited city in Europe, and today is one of the major centres for the area. You can visit to shop, dine or explore its numerous ancient monuments.
Mycenae (37 km) is one of the most important archaeological sites of Greece famous for its Cyclopean Walls, the Lion Gate (Bronze Age citadel) and the Treasury of Atreus (Tomb of Agamemnon).
Porto Heli (60 km) is a summer resort town south east of Kantia from where you can board a ferry to the island of Hydra, which also serves as a gateway to the other Saronic Islands (Spetses, Poros, etc.)

If you have a vehicle, you'll have access to a private parking space on the property. Local taverns and cafes are all within walking distance, but if you prefer to drive, finding street parking around the village is quite easy.
