Needed a place for a Bristol mini break and wanted to be outside of the town and this place didn’t disappoint. Exactly as described, easy to check in and everyone had a great time. Highly recommended!

No hanging space in any bedrooms, only shelves in 1. Pippa gains many clients from Coombe Lodge for weddings which happen every day of the week. I read there was a lack of coat hangers, so we took our own. If you go hiking, maybe it's acceptable to dump your clothes on the floor of the bedrooms and trip over them, but not for weddings. There is only 1 small rail for the whole house in the cleaning cupboard next to the hoover and ironing board. Only 1 over the door hook and that was in the bathroom. No mirrors in the bedrooms. No full length mirror. The only mirror near a plug (for a hair dryer) was in the dining room. The towels were like sand paper and the only soft one had bleach stains on it. The parking is so narrow you have to park RIGHT against the front wall & have to climb out of the passenger side. My wheels were on the kerb net to the busy MAIN road through the village. I couldn't park in the car park at the rear due to other guests' inconsiderate parking. I drive a Mini

We had originally booked a place a few miles away but due to maintenance issues were unable to stay. Pippa suggested this property and it was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. How can you not fall in love with Blagdon and the surrounding area?
