Hima is a great host! Super responsive and helpful. The cottage was easy to find and had everything we needed. We loved the peaceful surroundings and enjoyed the cozy space.

The property is exactly as shown. Good points: - very spacious for a large party (we had 10) - views from inside are amazing - comfortable beds - kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dishes and glassware which you don't see in every rental. - Hastings is just 10 minutes away if you forget anything. - Hima responds immediately when you contact her, so a 10/10 for customer service. Few things to note: - water and toilet paper are provided, but we ran out of both on the last night, so I suggest you bring extra - as someone else said, the cottage is a little creaky, so bring earplugs if you think you need them for sleeping

Overall our stay at the White Pines was okay. The cottage is a great size and so are the bedrooms. The lake and view is truly amazing. We did find a lot of issues with the cleanliness, starting with food leftover on the carpet in the living room and tables, and really dusty/hairy under beds, and the bathrooms seemed to have funky smells. The cleaning was really only surface level, we had to clean a lot on our own upon arrival. The air conditioning only works in the main living rooms up and downstairs. We went during a hot week and the rooms were unbearable with heat. We weren’t able to sleep at all. And finally the walls and floors are paper thin, you can hear everything and every movement in the house. So you’ll need some earplugs or noise machines to help sleep.

Our family had a wonderful time at this cottage. The cottage was large, well stocked and had everything our family needed. The setting was absolutely beautiful, incredible waterfront and we loved having the canoe and kayak to explore the river. Hima was a wonderful and very responsive host. Highly recommend staying here!
