Knusse ruimte, heerlijk ruim bed, rust in en om het huisje, goed gefaciliteerde keuken, auto naast de voordeur! Let op trap naar slaapkamer mogelijk lastig begaanbaar voor minder mobiele personen, badkamer erg klein en slechte waterdruk. Top verblijf!

Die Gegend ist für Strand- und Naturliebhaber ein Traum. Wenn man nicht das Ritz Carlton erwartet, wird sich schnell in der kleinen, bescheidenen, aber gemütlichen Unterkunft schnell wohlfühlen. Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht, das Bett ist komfortabel und groß genug für 2. Und der kleine, mit Torf befeuerte Kamin, macht regnerische Tage gemütlich.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Gillian avec qui la communication a été très facile. Le logement bénéficie d'une vue et d'un magnifique environnement . Bien situé , le logement permet de rayonner très facilement et se trouve tout proche de Omey island et Inishbofin qui sont de veritables trésors. La ville de Clifden n'est pas très loin. C'est une ville très agréable où on trouve tout ce dont on a besoin en commerces, restaurants et pubs. Le logement est simple mais fonctionnel. La cheminée est un vrai plus. Seul l'accès à la chambre peut paraître un peu difficile. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Gillian nous a accueilli avec un petit feu de tourbe préparé dans la cheminée. Le gîte est très cosy, calme et le lit très confortable. L’environnement est magique et le jardin très joli. A noté chien très convivial. Nous avons pu découvrir le Connemara et ses merveilles et profiter d’un cadre des plus agréables. Merci Gillian.

The location is beautiful. Gillian was friendly and helpful with firewood etc. However the stairs lacked adequate headroom at the top and the bedroom was very tight, but a comfortable bed. Not having drinking water meant having to buy and haul it from the grocery store to the apartment. Overall the apartment had a rustic /adventurous quality to it which may not suit seniors or people with accessibility issues.
