Comfortable 3 bed, 1 bath cottage walking distance to town center and the lake. Cottage had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and rooms had optional heaters or fans in case of cold/ hot weather. Nice backyard for BBQ and front porch for people watching. We particularly appreciated basic supplies such as condiments, tea, coffee, jam, butter, etc in the fridge, and washing powder for the washing machine. Shower room is basic but effective with separate toilet. Children’s playground across the street and a short walk to Real NZ info centre for trips to the Sounds. Book ahead for restaurants in the summer as everywhere was full by 7 pm. Would happily stay here again.

Location of the cottage was in walking distance to Te Anau center and restaurants in a very quiet area. Equipment contained all what we needed though quite simple - price was at the higher range.

We had a great time at this place in Te Anau. It's spacious - we're a family of 5 (inc. 2 teenagers), tidy and very well located near shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!
