fabulous location. very easy and prompt communication with bachcare. It has easy access to the mountain bike park and a dog friendly beach.

Great accomodation! Lots of space in the living areas and the shower pressure was next level amazing. Great space to bring you dog and we loved the private access to Tapu Bay beach which was literally less than a minutes walk away. Very clean, with great communication from host and only a 2-3min drive from Kaiteriteri. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to staying here again in future.

Unfortunately a big disappointment! We didn’t feel comfortable at all. It looks “picture perfect” but it simply isn’t. The panorama windows certainly offer a nice view. But with no curtains or blinds whatsoever you are never private and somewhat feel like as being in a zoo. Even worse when it’s dark outside, you have the lights turned on (not a single ambient light btw) you cannot see outside but everyone from the outside can see you. The equipment was basic, and some furniture quite worn off (couch, chairs ...), beds didn’t match, terrace and garden very undone with no plants, no outdoor furniture, no bbq. No WiFi topped it all. This was a huge downside (of course we know it says no WiFi on Airbnb, but we simply didn’t check on that when booking and WiFi is just so essential especially since the house is new and in a rural area where internet is just everywhere... no TV as well, just a couple of DVDs. Communication with Bachcare was just fine. Diane was always available and came by to see if everything was ok. Frankly spoken, the house seemed unfinished and not as “immaculate” as on the pictures. We are sorry to say, but EUR 200,- per night is definitely too much. We really hope, that the owners invest some more effort, time and attention to detail in this house to make it a real bay treasure. At this moment it seems to be for sheer capital investment only.

Clean tidy house in a very nice location. Stayed 4 nights. Was very disappointed there was no BBQ, Kiwis on summer holiday need a BBQ! The decking had no steps up/down to the ground. The kitchen had no microwave or pantry to store food etc. These aren't major issues but when paying $522 per night (including cleaning & service fee), it is reasonable to expect no issues.

A lovely spot in a beautiful part of the country. We enjoyed the short stroll to the beach. Fantastic for watching Tuis and Wood Pigeons from the deck. Thank you!
