Beautiful setting with very comfortable house. We also enjoyed delicious meals by the pool at night.

Beautiful traditional Filipino inspired home though quite different than what we were used to in the USA. The main living areas were pretty hot during the day though a breeze would come through the 17 double doors which we kept open all day. Air conditioning was nice in the bedrooms for sleeping at night. We would close all the doors at sunset to avoid having bugs in the house but some still got in. (Some windows didn't fully close.) The employees were very kind and helpful. There was a nice grocery store (SM Hypermarket) about 20 minutes away by car. We misunderstood the laundry situation - thinking it would be paid but in the house but it wasn't - it was pay by the kilo to have the host do it. We chose to handwash our clothes instead but it was a lot for 6 people and 13 days. The pool was beautiful and huge a nice way to cool down. 4 feet deep in the shallow end and 7 feet in the deep end. The house is a bit far from some of the tourist activities but drivable.

My family enjoyed this private farm house and pool. We loved the architecture of the native inspired home. The cool breeze was welcoming. It’s a place to rest and chill. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils but bring your own groceries before arriving. The staff were friendly and always available. The fire pit was a great space to introduce smores to my younger relatives. They had a blast.

Highly Recommended! Overall experience was superb!♥️ We enjoyed our stay super bitin pa! mabilis kausap si Ms. Tanya kaya paginquire booked agad. She's also very considerate. Mababait din ang staff and na asikaso talaga kami. Ganda ng place good for family kaya feel at home talaga ang lamig din kaya need namin isarado mga pinto sa living room. we are expecting na madaming lamok since pinadala kami ng insect repellent pero wala naman nakagat saamin. Complete ang gamit binigyan pa kami ni ate ng kapeng barako. Wag niyo din kalimutan mag side trip sa Mt. Banoy and Bahay na bato! Happy ang buong pamily! Thank you The Red Hen! ♥️

While the place boasts beauty and peace, there are areas for improvement to enhance the overall experience: * Certain parts of the house emit an unpleasant odor reminiscent of cockroaches. * Cockroaches were spotted in the upper bathrooms. * The absence of an AC unit on the lower ground hindered our ability to gather comfortably in the receiving area, forcing us to stay in our respective rooms due to intolerable heat. Additionally, the prevalence of mosquitoes, attributed to the surrounding plants, detracted from the experience. Installing screen doors could resolve this issue. * Additionally, some doors on the lower ground were dysfunctional, impacting our sense of security despite the property being fenced. On a positive note, the owner's responsiveness and clear instructions were commendable. The entire staff, especially Kuya Dayo, went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed.
