Qwétu homestay is a private room in a beautiful residence located in nyali area and is close to the road with access to public transport. We endeavour to make our guests as comfortable as possible,it's our hope that our guests find the residence their second home away from home. There is top security& parking. Entertainment sports, cinema,shopping malls& supermarkets are also close. Also available is a good number of restaurants,hotels,night spots and beaches. 1 bedroom available and is ensuite. On the upper floor there is a terrace that guests can enjoy some fresh air.. The room is fitted with ceiling fans,and additional stand fan. NB. The rate provided doesn't include use of AC, should you want the rooms with AC then you pay an extra 8 USD.

I was utterly disappointed by this place and will definitely will not be staying Samira's again. Saying this because: - The host is not friendly...very very transactional. I guess I expected a bit more homeliness considering its a home stay. - The breakfast has 'good and bad days'. It gets as bad as...we got only mango slices and crepe like pancakes on the first day. - There's a ridiculous charge of Kes 500 per meal cooked. - The room's are too hot and humid with only a ceiling fan that was quite flimsy and a stand alone fan. It was really uncomfortable. - This place had a school like feeling to it, given all the strict rules (which I guess makes sense since she lives on the property). I must say however, that the host was pretty helpful and accommodating when my friend and I had to add two extra guests. And the place is also in a really great location (near malls, bars and nice places to eat and hangout) and in a safe and quiet neighbourhood. Also, the workers, specifically Joseph and Amos, are really kind and nice. All in all, not value for money.

I really enjoyed my stay at Samira's homestay. She is very warm and friendly and clearly takes great pride in her home judging from the cleanliness and maintenance she and her staff put in. Location was great for me and my friends as it's in close proximity to some good hotels in the area with beach access. Was a bit hard for us to find proper Swahili dishes in e area ( Italian food is way more accessible than Swahili dishes which may make sense b/c residents will likely cook Swahili dishes at home and go out for something different). Re. Swahili food, I'd recommend Forodhani Restaurant just near Fort Jesus! Enjoy your stay if you do go. Thank you, Samira!

The residence is located 5 minutes away from Nyali Centre and 2 minutes to Roberto's restaurant.
Also close by is the only cinema hall in Mombasa.
There is a number of beaches one can choose to hung out..
Oh and for those who love night life ,the residence is close to so many lively spots.
Karibu kenya and enjoy your stay in Mombasa.
Public transport is available and one alights three minutes walk to the gate,i also arrange for taxi services for the guests.
Uber services are also available and affordable.
I offer air port pick up at a reasonable rate.
