Great place to stay in MV!
If you're staying in the Mill Valley area for hiking and great dining, this is literally *the perfect* place to stay. It's across the street from the Lumber Mill, with cute shops and options for food. A short walk away you can also find coffee shops, numerous amazing restaurants, and more shopping. The apartment itself is cozy and as described. It's an ideal fit for someone who is more interested in exploring (vs. staying at home during the day), as there is a family that lives upstairs that we did hear on occasion, as is described in the description / other reviews. We got to see Muir Woods (15m drive away), Tennessee Valley / Beach, and Point Reyes, which is also only about an hour or so away! We also spent dinners out at La Ginestra, Paseo, and Watershed, which are all highly recommended and delicious. All in all, a cute place to hang your hat while you're exploring this beautifully diverse area!! Thanks for the wonderful stay.
Great place to stay! Very quiet, clean and walkable to everything you need. Lynn was a very responsive and kind host.
We really enjoyed the location of this studio. We could walk to down town Mill Valley and drive to nearby towns easily. The bed was comfortable. We would have liked two comfortable chairs for relaxing but we made it work.

We have been living in the bay area for the past 20+ years, in San Francisco for 14 of them so please ask us for insider tips if you plan to visit SF. We got married in Mill Valley, adopted our dog in Mill Valley, and are now back living here with 2 kids. I do marketing consulting for natural food and beverage companies and love to play tennis and hike. My husband is a software engineer who loves kite surfing and playing the drums. We have two boys who love playing sports and riding around with us on our bikes.
