My sister and I loved our stay with Rafael! He let me check in early when I had an early flight arrival and was very welcoming and accommodating. He was very available by message when I had questions regarding a place to eat or finding an ATM. The place is in an incredible location, right between Ipanema and Copacabana, and we enjoyed many meals at the hotel across the street. The apartment itself was very comfortable, especially the bed! Two bathrooms was very nice, the AC was powerful and quick, and there’s a lovely tree outside with many birds and even monkeys. Highly recommend, thank you Rafael!

The apartment was good. Location about half block from the beach. Good bed, two AC´s, washing machine. Good towels, bed linens. The only draw back for me was that there wasn´t an elevator, 3rd floor, 54 steps up. After a few caipirinhas, going up was a drag.. lol.

Gostamos muito do tempo em que passamos neste Airbnb. A localização é perfeita (Arpoador, Ipanema e Copacabana), o apartamento é muito aconchegante, prático, bem decorado e com tudo o que precisávamos. Destaque para a climatização, sem ela teríamos derretido no calor do Rio 😅 O Rafael é muito simpático e prestativo, o porteiro (Russo) muito gente boa! Nota 10!

Raphael was a wonderful host and the apartment was really comfortable and pleasant. Right next to Ipanema beach and easy walking distance to loads of cafes and shops. We loved it!

We spent 15 days at Rafael's apartment in Feb-March. It was a great apartment situated perfectly across from the best part of Ipanema Beach (Arpoador) and super close proximity to Copacabana Beach (15 min walk or 5 min bike ride which we did often). Also, there is a small hotel across the road which was a great spot for morning coffee and sunset patios close to home. The photos on Airbnb looked exactly as the apartment did. Rafael was a great host and very friendly. He was very attentive and was always responsive with communication. There was a slight leak on one of the tap faucets we noticed on Day 2, and after notifying Rafael, he had a friendly plumber in the very next morning to fix it, without any inconvenience to us. It was very enjoyable vacation spot, the bed was very comfortable, the place was bright and clean, and I would highly recommend Rafael's apartment to anyone going to Rio!
