Nice secluded peaceful location just outside of Tucson. Very quiet at night and great skies for star viewing.The area is true Sonoran desert with plenty of cacti . House was very clean and spacious for two couples . Kitchen well stocked with everything you need to make meals which we did ! Nice size grill also if you want to cook outside. Grocery shopping and a few restaurants about a 5 minute drive from the house. Highly recommend this place and would return !

I can't say enough good things about Ashley's desert home! My friend and I came to southeastern AZ to spend a week birding and this was our first "base camp" for three nights. It was perfect! We were surrounded by beautiful desert, with lots of birds actually nesting right near the house: Curve-billed Thrashers, Cactus Wrens, Verdins, Gambel's Quail, etc. were all right by the house! We even saw a Harris's Hawk fly over! We saw deer and lots of rabbits, and we were serenaded by coyotes each night! If you're natural history-inclined, this is the place for you to stay! Ashley was extremely communicative, responsive, and helpful. The accommodations were neat, clean, comfortable, and absolutely ideal for me and my friend, as we wanted 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. It was wonderful to come "home" after a long day of hiking and birding in the Tucson area, and feel like we could relax and be totally comfortable! Thank you Ashley!

This was our second time staying on this property and we loved it both times. The location is perfect, quiet and a wonderful place to experience the desert. Ashley and Jason were very prompt in responding to any questions and we hope to return. Highly recommend.
