El loft muy bonito, buena comunicación y lo único que no me gusto fue que tuvimos 2 problemas, el de la regadera me lo solucionaron rápidamente y el de la fuga del lavamanos no me lo solucionaron en mi estadía, pedí nuevas toallas que las anteriores las usamos para secar el piso por los dos problemas y no me las llevaron nunca.

The Black Loft is a brand new, stylish, and secure stay in a fancy new neighborhood with 24/7 security guarding the gated community! Upon meeting your gracious (Spanish Only) host Yeimy (pronounced Jamie), you will be on a private block with two other Lofts and behind another garage style gate, with a dedicated parking space. The Black Loft is EXACTLY as depicted in the listing! Everything is modern and chic. “The Satellite City | La Ciudad Satélite” is directly across the street from the regional airport, and is a 10 minute walk/2 minute drive to a local shopping center where you can buy almost everything you need! The shopping center is also a great place to catch a Tuc Tuc to the island of Flores which is a ten-minute/Q10 ride. Overall, I definitely recommend for a quick stay to visit Flores and Tikal! The Satellite City is on the very road leading into the sacred sites of Tikal, 1-hour away! ——————— PLEASE NOTE: Given that this listing is brand new to AirBnB, there were several things that were not equipped for long term guests. The Wi-Fi was good, but not strong enough to conduct remote-work smoothly. There were a couple disruptions. During my two-week stay, I had to ask for every little household item necessary for basic living: extra paper towels and toilet tissue, bath towels, cleaning supplies, *bug spray* etc. Also, if the host was not available, I simply had to place my daily living activities on hold. The kitchen is not equipped for people that love to cook. One very small pot, one knife, a cutting board and two pans. I still made magic though! There is no central air, and the loft is equipped with a powerful wall unit and ceiling fan that absolutely get the job done! Also, there are covered windows atop the walls that remain open 24/7. You will come to learn the patterns of the lovely family with jubilant niños and a fearless dog, whose backyard is at your bedroom. The bathroom is modern and you can play music from the mirror! However, the shower floods like the Nile River…… During a long shower (washing hair) water completely covered the bathroom floor and went into the living room. I had to put towels at the door to keep water in the bathroom. Also, there were no rugs/mats to help, I had to ask. I was only allotted ONE set of towels at a time, and had to ask every single time I needed more. Also, upon checkout Yeimy graciously agreed to drive me to the airport; however, before leaving she felt the need to “check the loft” and proceeded to search high and low for every single towel, to the point of removing bed sheets and all, while she and her young daughter counted each one out loud, as I quietly watched and waited. That didn’t feel good, at all. Finally, and most importantly for the comfort of women and people with sensitive noses and weak stomachs: There was was a persistent smell of swamp/lake water coming from the bathroom and kitchen. The smell was easily subdued with a pot of boiling nutmeg and cinnamon. However, if you are pregnant or menstruating, it could become unbearable. I sincerely believe the Black Loft will get better with time!! Although there are two other reviews, it seems I was the first person to ever stay here. Overall, I had a lovely time and am thankful for the entire experience!
