The loft is amazing: stunning views of Galliano Island and Long Harbor (included binoculars on the window to see even more), lots of sun and space inside with the modern and stylish furniture, kitchen full of things to cook with, everything was super tidy and clean, Sonos speaker with iPad to control it, new smart Weber BBQ with the LCD display that you can manage from your smartphone, EV Level 2 (14-50) and Level 1 plugs were available to use! The surrounding territory was full of beautiful nature: there is a pond with Koi, small waterfall, exit right to one of the trails around! We spotted several rabbits, deers and many-many birds right on the property! It has been an absolute pleasure staying at Jim’s place! Jim was super friendly and responsive any time we approached him! BTW, the Toynbee Rd trail to Mt.Erskine that goes through the nature reserve was really awesome - thanks for the tip, Jim 🙏 Highly recommend Jim’s place to anyone visiting Salt Spring Island!

Beautiful loft, fantastic views and expansive outdoor space. We enjoyed the property so much that we spent most of our time on the island looking at the view or wandering the grounds. Jim was very friendly and available. Would highly recommend this bnb!

Jim was an amazing host! His space was so peaceful and spacious. My girlfriend and I even did one the trails just behind his property and lost the house key and he had one ready for us immediately when we came back. He was very responsive to the chat and extremely helpful on suggesting restaurants and things to do.

We have stayed at many vacation rentals over the years and The Loft is one of our favorites. It is an amazing place both inside and out. We look forward to returning!
