By and large my large family group had an amazing weekend at Lakes by Yoo. The house was spacious and had wonderful views from every window. The range of activities was great - we did Forest Monkeys, tennis, pool swimming ( lovely), walking and were delighted with the lakeside teepee-style restaurant. However we were disappointed with the house in a number of ways - the stair carpets were dirty and marked, there was a tear in a sofa, the top bedroom had lots of small holes in it, the decks and outdoor furniture were dirty, the entrance and parking area had litter. Also the small dishwashers were very inconvenient- behind the door in the utility room with no surface to put the dishes. Obviously because we had only two nights there, we didn’t let this spoil our enjoyment. However considering we were paying ‘ luxury prices’ (£2000) for the house, and another £500 for cleaning, I thought the standard of both the house interior and the cleaning were very disappointing.

Beautiful home! It’s a lot bigger in real life. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. Thanks to Lauren for being so responsive tbroughout!

The location and setting is stunning, the property is a great space with a lovely fire and room for entertaining between guests staying and host is very responsive - but we found this out because we had to be in touch about a few issues. The property clean before we arrived wasn’t up to scratch but it was immediately acknowledged by the host as not acceptable and a generous gift was sent straight away. The property is in need of maintenance, the sliding shower heads are broken in 2 of the upstairs bathrooms and theres multiple light fixtures not working and we did have multiple power outages over our stay (which may have also been due to wind in the area). It would have been useful to have a second set of keys given 3 couples staying and there is 2 very large bedrooms and 2 very small and not very well equipped bedrooms more designed for children. Finally, great to have more toilet rolls which ran out, dishwash clothes or tea towels. Overall a good stay with a few niggles.

Pure magic , Lauren was so attentive and understanding, great communication and the home itself is stunning with all the facilities at the lakes by yoo anyone could ask for. The lake views and being surrounded by outstanding beauty , while in such a beautiful home overlooking the lake, with all our family… was truly precious and special. I can’t thank you enough Lauren !
