Charzykowy is a holiday resort in Bory Tucholskie on Lake Charzykowskie (Łukomie), located in the south-western part of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
The great popularity of Charzykowy in Poland is associated with inland sailing, a place that is the cradle of Polish sailing with the oldest sailing club in the country. In connection with 100th anniversary of the first sailing club in Poland and the development of sailing on Lake Charzykowskie (two years ago), an occasional film on this subject was made available on YT (title: 100 - LECIE KOLEBKI POLSKIEGO ŻEGLARSTWA).

The nearby Charzykowskie Lake is the second largest, after Lake Wdzydze, a water reservoir in the Tuchola Forest.
The main tributaries are the Brda and Czerwona Struga flowing from the west, and the Struga Jarcewska and Struga Siedmiu Jezior flowing into the lake on the eastern shore.
Currently, Charzykowy is a large holiday and tourist center. You can also spend your free time taking part in numerous cultural and entertainment events in the local amphitheater. Otto Weilandt, where many events, festivals and music concerts take place in summer, incl. folklore festival and the Shanties sailing song festival.
In Charzykowy there are numerous private pensions, hotels, holiday resorts, restaurants and bars.
An attraction for tourists is the bathing beach with a large beach, pier, slide, water marina, playgrounds for children, water equipment rentals and windsurfing schools. The Kashubian Route which begins here is particularly popular among cycling tourists, which includes four bicycle routes with a total length of 165 km, which are an interesting proposition for spending free time in an active, safe way and in contact with the nature of the Zaborski Landscape Park and in the buffer zone of the Bory National Park. In the center of the village there is a church, police, health center and school with accommodation base, public library, Orlik football field. There is also a large Spa hotel in the village with an accessible indoor pool and a hotel restaurant.
Charzykowy have an excellent connection with Chojnice and other holiday resorts thanks to public transport buses (MZK Chojnice - lines 1 and 7), which makes it the most attractive place for relaxation and active recreation.
