We felt right at home in the house. Beautiful decor and lovely garden. really everything is there for a nice stay. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the area. Right from the cottage are walking trails and plenty of talk from friendly englishmen and neighbous. The walk to Bidford is beautiful and convenient to run errands at the Coop there. There is much beauty to see in the area. We have been to Stratford and Oxford. There are many beautiful gardens ( Hidcote manor). Chipping Campden is really recommended. (with tea and a scone at the bantam tea room). we would love to come back again.

We absolutely adored our stay at Lantern Cottage, it’s very peaceful and tucked away, the only noise being bird song, though surprisingly only a short drive to go to all the local tourist spots. There are plenty of lovely dog walks nearby as it’s very close to the River Avon. The cottage is full of quirky art, antiques, books, and everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable and homely stay. We would love to return in any season and enjoy the beautiful garden, and the cosy log burner. Sue was very easy to contact with any queries we had, and also sends through very helpful and informative documents before your stay.

Sue's Cottage ist wirklich etwas ganz Besonderes, wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit dort. Wer einen ruhigen Rückzugsort und ein schönes Haus mit Charme und Charakter sucht, ist dort genau richtig. Es ist sehr persönlich eingerichtet, man merkt, dass man sich an einem Ort befindet, der für jemanden ein Zuhause ist. Da wir nicht das allerbeste Wetter hatten, möchte ich noch erwähnen, dass dort niemand frieren muss. Es gibt neben dem schönen Holzofen auch noch eine Zentralheizung.
