The location was excellent. The space was fantastic. This place has so much potential but it is run down with stained furniture, ripped furniture, chipped furniture. It is in need of an update. The “starter kit” was bare minimum without extra trash bags or even a broom to sweep sand up. In comparison to other air bnbs this one did not offer even the basics.

Beautiful spot and great to host a large family and/or friends gathering. We had a few issues but Vacasa generally responded to resolve.

Garbage and clothes were left behind at pool with maggots. We assumed a cleaning person forgot to dispose of properly so we did. We cleaned the entire space for our own comfort. Neither dishwasher worked. My son cleaned out the filthy traps, but it did little good. We washed dishes by hand or rewashed. Our 7 YO sat on the toilet, fell off hurting herself because the seat was broken. I reported this immediately because it was not something we could repair. The response was not timely. Vacasa responded only after we made a 2nd report of existing damage grill so we were not held responsible. We are not an overly fussy family and try to help when we can. The final straw was when roaches were discovered in the kitchen. Vacasa is not taking responsibility for our health risk and Airbnb has not held them accountable. We are a fair and understanding family. Maggots and roaches are unacceptable. There are certain expectations when paying $33k for accommodations. This is a health risk

The home is in a beachfront location and has stunning views of the ocean (and gorgeous sunrise) from most rooms, and the layout of this home was perfect for hosting a large family holiday celebration! My family enjoyed the entertainment amenities throughout our stay and also loved having private bathrooms in every bedroom. The kitchen is large, with multiple ranges and refrigerators, which was exactly what we needed. Also, having the large center island was handy as a food buffet. A wide selection of stores and restaurants are nearby enough. The furniture and decor of the home is better than acceptable. I have to give relatively low ratings for cleanliness and communication because the home was not cleaned between the previous guests and our check in (and not sparkly clean in general), and managing through this issue was bumpy. However, ultimately,, Vacasa Virginia resolved the situation to my satisfaction. Overall, we had a lovely stay.
