Good stay. Missed quite a few things but it was certainly good enough for a 3 night stay. Does not have a tv or an AC which somehow I missed when booking. The quietest spot we stayed at in Barbados which was nice as we had to keep all the windows and blinds open to sleep. Less to do in the area than expected but very good connections if you’ve a car.

I loved my time at Mel's place, as a Solo female traveller I felt safe. I will missed my early walks along Bottom Bay,Sam Lords castle, peats Bay from the neighbours to the locals I met everyone was so kind. at night you can hear the Ocean Waves. Mel gave me some organic tomatoes and spinach from her garden the tomatoes tasted like English plums. I don't drive, so the local buses took me around Barbados in no time. Amazing. if I could give more stars I would.

Very disappointing stay! I booked for six nights and had to leave after two due to hidden fees. The host doesn’t allow any guest after 12pm , $80 ahead per person. Melrose is a very rude host has no personal skills and approached me, by watering flowers underneath my window. To let me know that I owed her money. Highly aggressive host avoid. A thief 3 guest visited the night before my birthday and in the morning of my birthday. I was approached by the host. Letting me know that owed her money. I let her know that I would leave early, due to feeling very uncomfortable with her behaviour . She was very aggressive by standing outside the window with the hose, pretending to water a non-existent vegetable patch ,so therefore I felt very uncomfortable and I left and booked another establishment. Thanks to Melrose’s disgusting behaviour. I have been able to view more of Barbados and none of the other Airbnb have had these rules and she had the least equipped Airbnb. No TV, no bus route

"My stay at this Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! The apartment was exactly as described in the listing, very clean, spacious and comfortable. It is exactly 5 minutes from Bottom Beach, a beautiful beach that I recommend visiting. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing helpful recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely book this place again in the future and recommend it to anyone looking for excellent accommodation in the area! Thank you Mel for an interesting experience!"
