Une magnifique maison de ville décorée avec goût par Margaret. nous avons adoré la pergola végétalisée en bord de la rivière Gartempe où nous avons pu déjeuner et passé des moments de lecture et de détente. toutes les courses peuvent se faire à pied. une belle découverte!

La maison est magnifique, fidèle aux photos, la décoration est soignée. Le petit jardin est un vrai plus avec une terrasse donnant sur la rivière, lieux parfait pour lire à l'ombre ou prendre le thé ou l'apéritif. La cuisine est également bien équipée, elle permet de vraiment pouvoir faire de la cuisine pendant les vacances, c'est très appréciable. Vous pouvez si vous le souhaitez tout faire à pieds depuis la maison. Merci à Margaret pour ses recommandations et son livret d'accueil qui explique en détails le fonctionnement de l'électroménager.

Great sojourn in Poitou. The house is really nice, very comfortable for a family of 4 (there were still 2 unused beds in a room !). Very central in a calm, peaceful and typical small city. A lot of things to discover within 30’ by car. Idyllic garden with a lovely pergola on the river Gartempe. We highly recommend the place. And on top of that, Margaret has been wonderfully helpful and easy to reach !

We had a great stay at Margaret’s house! The house is ideally located just next to the town central square, just a little further in a quiet street. The house is just next to the bakery with the best pastries in town (I write with authority it is my hometown), which made for amazing breakfasts our entire stay. You can also order very good Paris-Brest cakes there that are to die for. When not at the nearby restaurants we had our meals by the river under the beautiful pergola. The terrace from le Palais is also walking distance to have coffee or a drink at any time. The house is extremely well furnished and clean. The views on the river and the historical buildings from the windows are amazing. We will rent again for sure.
