This unit was exactly as described. The host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to questions. Place felt clean and looks just like the photos. Only two minor complaints and that is there is a lot of street noise which the host can’t do anything about. I was woken up several times by cars, motorcycles, and firetrucks. The only suggestion I would make would be to have a look lock going down to the creepy basement. The house is old, but that’s part of the charm! However, the basement felt a bit unsecured to the outside, and there is no lock on the inside basement door. There’s no parking but street parking was easy enough. I would rent this unit unit again.

Decent value for price. Couch was very comfy and nice size. Ample dinner table space. Hosts were responsive via text for most of stay, except the final night I had to contact them through airbnb when a party happened in the other half of the unit and fights broke out. But they did contact the guests and sent someone over to ensure they vacated immediately. That was the best resolution one could expect, being in Dayton, after all. Fridge is set too cold and no way to turn it down, so it froze and ruined my fresh fruits and veggies. Bed frame in back bedroom is falling apart - wouldn't trust it under the weight of two adults. None of the bedroom doors latch, much less lock. Bathroom door has a lock, but it may be difficult for a small child to reach. Windows are very thin so the busy road outside is very loud. Sheer curtains so it's bright at night and in the morning. No baking sheet/pizza pan, measuring cup/spoons, or potholder/oven mitt. Basement doesn't feel secure from intrusion.

Shelly and her place were wonderful! My friends and I enjoyed all the comforts during our stay. We are thankful to have found her place with such high demand the weekend of the eclipse.

Door on entry and back side not feel safe locking system. Underground area is using for washing machine it is need to renovate and clean
