Extremely beautiful house with beautiful people. The wood house is so cosy and with plenty of space and hammocks, you can really enjoy inside the house almost all day long. The view from the house is also nice. A must stay.

Margit, our gracious host, welcomed us with cake and coffee upon our arrival setting the tone for a homey stay. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering helpful tips about the local area and making sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The yard was meant for bird lovers and a wonderful walking trail with river view across the street. Half a block away was a great city park, again with ample bird watching opportunities. The rooms were all well-lit and comfortable although noted that the shared bathroom (for her guests) is on the lower level. She was able to connect us to an extremely knowledgeable Bird guide. Margit has wonderful stories of her travels and enjoys hearing about ours, perhaps with a coffee or glass of wine on the covered porch. If you're looking for a welcoming, comfortable, and pet-friendly accommodation in this part of Ecuador, look no further. We left with fond memories and a strong desire to return in the future. Eigentlich fehlen mir jegliche Worte, um dem wundervollen Aufenthalt bei Margit gerecht zu werden. Ich wurde herzlich - mit Willkommenstorte - begrüßt und war kein Gast, sondern von Anfang an ein Teil ihrer wunderbaren Macas-Familie. Was Dich erwartet?! Ein wunderschönes Haus, Yoga, 2 wundervolle Tiere, wunderbare Ausflugsziele und -tipps zu wenig besuchten Wasserfällen und Communities. Nicht zu vergessen: Herzlichkeit! Es war mir ein großes Vergnügen . Tausend Dank liebe Margit! Wir haben uns nicht zum letzten Mal gesehen! <3
