Escape the desert heat and cool off in the Arizona pines! Easy 2-hour drive from Phoenix and 30 minutes east of Payson, near Christopher Creek. Enjoy this one and a quarter-acre property at a cool 6,500' elevation with views of the Mogollon Rim. Easy access to Rim-country trails and lakes. Our cozy cabin provides a comfortable stay with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The primary bedroom with king-sized bed has an en suite full bathroom, the second bedroom has two single beds (these can be pushed together to make one bigger bed), and the futon in the living room can be made up into a bed. If you're feeling adventurous, you can set up the futon on the porch for sleeping as well! There is a full bathroom off the hall, and laundry in the hall closet. The well-stocked kitchen comes with all pots/pans, utensils, and dishes needed to cook any meal, and many bonus appliances such as waffle iron and slow cooker are provided. Salt/pepper/oil, flour, sugar, coffee, tea, and other staples provided. Feel free to use any canned food, popcorn, granola bars, or any other bonus items left in the cupboards! Satellite internet allows for all streaming services and remote work environment. Keep in mind Satellite is a bit slower so video relay work would be a challenge. It is important to note that you will need to pack out all trash, as this is a seasonal cabin and we do not have trash pickup service. The outdoor 1.25 acre space is fully fenced (it is barbed wire, so warn the kiddos!) however dogs may find a way out!
