Great experience with friends despite misleading ad Cottage sleeps/seats 4 adults comfortably, not 7 as advertised. The only seating beyond flimsy dining chairs/bench are 2 love-seats. There are only 4 coffee mugs. Loft is very cramped and a little dangerous to climb up and down for young children and nervous adults. There is also an electrical cord sticking out, sealed with electrical tape. There is no CO detector nor fire extinguisher. Hot tub has a view of road, neighbour's house and cottage BBQ, not "stunning lake views" as advertised. Hot tub seats 4 adults. Only 1 could see lake by craning neck. Front door security camera overlooked hot tub and seemed to be on a lot. Toilet was not to be flushed with every pee and toilet paper was not to be flushed which was smelly and gross. Linens only on some beds and inconsistently noted in ad/manual. Unexpected at this price. Zenitude was not very zen with 2 departure reminder emails from the host <24h after arriving/day before depart.

Lovely little cottage close to Ottawa with great waterfront, views and amenities!

We were a group of 7 people up from Ottawa for a golfing trip during the long weekend. The price was fair considering this is probably the busiest weekend of the year for cottage rentals. One guy from our group showed up 3 hrs early in an effort to beat the traffic and the host allowed him to hang out by the water while the cleaners were working which was nice. The place is compact but not cramped at all. With 5 single beds, 1 double, and 1 queen, we each had our own beds. 4 of the beds are in a loft which requires climbing a sliding ladder to access. Just be careful when you're climbing because the ladder can sometimes slide on you. Outside is where this place really shines though. There's a 3-tier deck with a BBQ, firepit, and jacuzzi. Water access at the bottom of the property with a dock. Paddle boards and a canoe were awesome. Beautiful views. We had one issue with a neighbour whose dog kept coming over and stealing our food but that's not the fault of our host. Great overall

A little over an hour drive from Ottawa, nice lake and nice cottage with a few kayaks and paddle boards!

Beautiful location with access to the lake. We spent lots of time fishing, canoeing, and in the water. Glad we were able to bring our dogs because they loved it! A bit of a hassle to bring our own linens since I've never done that with an airbnb before but people can choose to pay to have linen provided if that is easier for them. Would also advise that you bring your own drinking water -the tap water became quite cloudy after our first night (This may have been because of the storm, and there was a metro open to buy a case of water close by).
