The location of Llithfaen is absolutely fantastic , some great walks and access to some of the best parts of Llyn. The Village setting is really interesting and gives you a real appreciation of the amazing Welsh culture and language which is strong here. The Cottage is very characterful and snug with a well equipted kitchen and good views out from the balcony. Would have given 5 stars but think it just needs a nudge from the hosts to get it there.

We found Ty Croes easily and once inside we were very happy with the absolutely, unrivalled, stunning views, the cottage and the decor. Someone clearly has spent a lot of time on the decor - the look is lovely with a lot of attention to detail. There are lots of lovely pictures, soft furnishings and Welsh themed paraphernalia. The log burner was also very welcome, as the weather we experienced was not the best. The local wild goats were a source of entertainment. The location is excellent for unspoiled beaches, country walks, stunning scenery. We travel with Arthur our dog, most places we took him to people were happy to see a dog. We visited Criccieth on several occasions and the castle was worth a visit. The fish and chips at Castle Fish and Chips were amazing! We went toTeaeth Penllech Beach and it was a lovely walk around the bay. Overall, we had a really lovely time.

An amazing cottage in a truly stunning location with mountains and beaches a stone’s through away. All of the locals seemed very friendly and there is a brilliant, brand new (?) playground within a 5 minute walk which our children loved. Highlights included the walk up Yr Eifl, the mountain behind the cottage; the beaches at Nefyn and the nearby castles at Criccieth, Harlech, Caernarfon and Beaumaris which our 8 year old absolutely loved! Niki and Ceri were great hosts and sorted a minor problem very promptly for us on the first night.
