It a really nice place for rough campers as v basic amenities. It is a very quiet place and you can clearly see all the stars in the open sky if it is a clear night- great for stargazers and for looking at nature. We saw lots of bats and other wild creatures. The open fire was great and logs were available to use. Rupert is a great host and very helpful indeed.

We returned here after 5 years and had the same wonderful experience as before Rupert is so friendly and helpful - an extra special thank you for the fresh eggs each morning! Everything you need for camping is there - we did prefer the air bed as adults but the girls had a really comfortable night on the fold up bed! We love camping but it’s so nice to not have to worry about the set up for a change and having the place to yourself to really get away from it all is just what we wanted. Thank you for having us again xxx

We had a wonderful stay in Rupert's tent that is conveniently set up, saving us time and hassle. The tent is very spacious and comfortable. The farm/field is beautiful and treelined, so plenty of shelter and it is safe for dogs to run around in. The sheep and the chickens are safely fenced in. It was incredibly tranquil and we loved the camp fire at night, watching the bats and listening to the owls and the buzzards. Rupert was very friendly and easy to talk to and gave us fresh eggs, which my husband ate and said they were delicious. We definitely recommend a stay here, if you enjoy camping. There is lots to explore, Suffolk countryside is beautiful with Aldeburgh and Southwold beaches to enjoy and well worth a visit. There are plenty of walks around the farm too. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Lovely and peaceful! Just what we needed for a family night away. Took two of our teenagers with us and they loved it, especially cooking on the fire pit and roasting marshmallows. It reminded me of camping when I was a child. Much more of an escape away feeling than at modern campsites and a great idea to have pitched tents ready to use.

Rupert is a fantastic host. He was so warm and welcoming. The set up is ideal for those ‘reluctant campers’ or if you want to give camping a try. Everything is ready to go so all you have to do is turn up with a sleeping bag. Secluded surroundings where you feel ‘in nature’. Wonderful evening walks around the surrounding fields with stunning views across the area.
