I selected Vanessa's flat because it is literally a 2-minute walk from my company's Reading office, so was absolutely perfect for me. I did not have to go into Reading itself so can't comment on ease of public transport, but the flat is near the Madejski Stadium and it has parking on site, which I am sure is greatly appreciated for that area. It is ABSOLUTELY as described and the photos are spot on. Well appointed and very clean. Vanessa is a very reactive host and she was kind enough to go shopping for basic food supplies for me as I was arriving late at night. Can't fault anything, hope the place is available next time I am working from our Reading office, I will be sure to book it!

The apartment was warm and cosy and covered basic needs, and the local bus provides a fast connection to central Reading in just 15 minutes, even in the rush hour. Check-in instructions were clear and helpful although not received until the day of check in, which is always a bit worrying. We thought the facilities were a bit basic for the price charged (we even had to buy loo roll because only a tiny amount was supplied!) and the location was quite noisy at night.
