This is a great unpretentious home that is well equipped and perfect for families who want to swim and lounge by the pool and be close to everything in Port Clinton. The house was super safe, big enough to spread out in, and had everything you need, and nothing you don't.

We decided to make a trip to Port Clinton for 4 days and found a house with a pool. This house is located about one mile from the center of town and about 100 yards from Sandusky Bay. The back of the house has a good view. We made reservations and had to cancel about two weeks later because of a health issue. Since airbnb won't give refunds. Mike worked with us to reserve a new date. So he saved us. Mike is new with airbnb and had just finished renovating the house. However he warned us that the whole house AC was not installed yet but he has bedroom AC in all three rooms. We pondered a bit and decided to take a chance since it was close to September. So we arrived on Sunday afternoon and found that every single room has a fan. Most of the days a fan was sufficient except one day it got up to 90 outside. Wasn' t too bad because of the wind blowing in from the lake. Sleeping was great in the AC. And the pool was really nice. Lots of toys to play with and a lot of outdoor furniture. So on all categorys but one Mike gets 5 stars but we did give him 4 1/2 stars because of the heat even though it certainly was not his fault. Plus it was nice that he supplied Keurig coffee. Our bed was really comfortable. Monday night's storm was really heavy and the wind blowing in from the lake was kind of scary. We reccommend this stay. Being really close to the happenings in town the going back to the quiet house - Great. if you decide to take a day trip to put-in-bay the express ferry is just down the road.

Enjoyed the pool and patio. The property does not butt up against the bay as pictured; there are houses in between.

Nice location. Nice pool. Lots of bugs! House not well equipped for renters (basic supplies, pans, kitchen ware). House was not very clean at check in. I thought the AC window units would cool the whole house but they didn’t. Very hot. Communication with owner was good.

Great place to stay. Does not have central air but the rooms are air conditioned. The house is clean and the pool is very clean and had floaties and enough seating to eat outside and relax as well. We have four kids and a dog and we're comfortable. The owner comes to check on the pool as well so it stays clean. Very friendly and quick to respond.
