My family of six (three children) and I stayed at Alice's home by the lake in early May 2024. We very much enjoyed our stay there. The location is fantastic, right on Lake Ontario, in a very nice residential neighbourhood. There is a smaller grocery close enough to walk and a larger supermarket in a few minutes drive. The home is large with lots of space. The table tennis was great for the kids and the kitchen was easy to use. Alice was super responsive - there were a few things missing when we arrived but she very quickly sorted them out and was very friendly to deal with. Great spot to visit Niagara Falls or to check out some of the local walks.

Alice's place was beautiful - and looked just like the pictures. She was also a wonderful host and very responsive and attentive to the needs of my family - maybe a little too attentive, if that's a thing - for example, I'd informed her of the bed creaking and she proceeded to get us a whole mattress topper to help. I had a little problem initially getting into the house and although we finally figured it out and got in, she wanted to send someone over to take care of the lock. We thought these were kind gestures. If you're visiting the area, I definitely recommend her lake house - the cleanliness, serenity and calmness of the location can quieten the noisiest of minds, plus with a host like Alice - who wouldn't want that win-win situation? My rating: Host - 5 stars Location - 5 stars Property - 5 stars Thanks, Alice, for helping Spring Break be fun. It was good all around, even for the adults. Great Lake Ontario in our backyard was the best part of the Break for Mrs. and I.
